Obituary of Frank B Colby

Frank B. Colby, 78, a resident of Greenwich, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital, following a brief illness.

He was born December 22, 1945, in Bennington, VT, to the late Charles A. and Jean (Kellogg) Colby.

Frank was a graduate of Greenwich Central School and served his country proudly in the United States Navy.  He was a hard worker his entire life working as a welder.  Frank loved to hunt, fish and ride motorcycles.  He loved his family more than anything in this world and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Sandra Colby. 

Survivors include his brother, Bruce (Gilles) Colby of Quebec, Canada; aunt, Megon (Douglas) Medick and their daughter Kelly Vernhes; cousins, Heidi Skellie, Roma Colby as well as several other cousins and friends.   

He will be laid to rest with his wife in Greenwich Cemetery later this spring.
